Overcharged for Pork Settlement: Check Your Eligibility and File by October 29, 2026

If you used CVS.com, CVSHealth.com, or the CVS app before July 27, 2026, you may be eligible for a payment from a new CVS Digital Privacy class action settlement. Eligible class members can submit a claim for up to $10 with documentation or choose an alternative payment of up to $5 without documentation.

The settlement involves allegations concerning the disclosure of information related to users of CVS digital properties to Criteo and other technology providers or third parties through technology embedded on CVS websites and digital services. CVS Pharmacy, Inc. and Criteo Corp. deny wrongdoing and have agreed to the settlement to avoid the costs and uncertainty of continued litigation. The settlement has not yet received final court approval.

What can you claim?

  • Up to $10 with documentation: You can submit proof showing that you accessed a CVS digital property in the United States before July 27, 2026. Examples listed by the settlement include browser history, screenshots showing dates, or email receipts for online purchases.
  • Up to $5 without documentation: If you qualify as a Settlement Class Member but cannot provide documentation, you may choose the alternative cash option of up to $5.

Keep in mind that the amounts listed are maximum payments. The actual payment could be lower depending on the number of valid claims submitted and other approved expenses deducted from the settlement fund.

The settlement provides for a maximum cash payment fund of $20.5 million. The fund will also cover court-approved attorneys' fees and costs, settlement administration expenses, and service awards before the remaining money is distributed to eligible class members.

How to file: If you received a settlement notice, you can use the Login ID and PIN included in that notice to access the online claim form. You can also submit a claim without logging in through the settlement website.

Only one claim per household can be filed under the settlement terms, so make sure someone else in your household has not already submitted a claim.

Claim deadline: November 16, 2026.

Eligible claimants can choose to receive their payment by check or through an electronic payment option such as PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle.

Daybreaks Deals tip: If you have an old CVS online purchase email, order confirmation, or other dated record showing you accessed CVS digital properties before July 27, 2026, keep it handy when filing. Documentation may allow you to claim the higher payment option. If you do not have documentation, the settlement also provides the up to $5 alternative option.
