Looking for a fun way to add a little giving back to Halloween this year? Free Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes are available for 2026, giving families, kids, schools, and groups a simple way to collect donations while trick-or-treating.
The familiar little orange UNICEF box has been part of Halloween for generations, and the program is back for 2026. UNICEF USA is offering free Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF boxes that can be requested online. According to UNICEF USA, orders placed by October 26, 2026 are expected to arrive in time for Halloween.
The idea is simple. Kids can take the box along while going door-to-door and invite neighbors to make a donation to support UNICEF's work helping children around the world. It can be a nice way to turn part of the traditional trick-or-treating experience into an opportunity to help others.
What you can get:
- Free Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF collection boxes
- A free activity poster is also included with the box order
- Boxes can be requested online through UNICEF USA
- Orders can be placed for Halloween 2026 while supplies last
UNICEF USA says the program supports work for children in more than 150 countries and territories. Donations can help support areas such as education, safe water, vaccinations, health care, and humanitarian assistance.
One thing I like about this offer is that there is no complicated setup required. If your family already participates in Halloween, the box gives kids an easy way to learn about generosity and helping other children while they are out collecting candy.
UNICEF USA also offers online fundraising options for people who would rather participate digitally. The organization has continued the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF program for decades, with the familiar orange collection box becoming one of its best-known symbols.
Ordering is free, but supplies are limited, so if you would like to participate this Halloween, it makes sense to request your boxes sooner rather than later. UNICEF USA says boxes began shipping September 21 and typically arrive within five business days.
