If you accessed GameSpot (www.gamespot.com or any of its subdomains) while in California between January 5, 2023, and December 16, 2025, you may be eligible to receive a portion of the class action settlement against Fandom, Inc.
The lawsuit, Shah v. Fandom, Inc., Case No. 3:24-cv-01062-RFL, alleges that GameSpot used tracking software on visitors’ browsers without consent. The settlement creates a $1,200,000 Settlement Fund to be distributed on a pro rata basis among eligible participants.
No purchase is required. Eligibility is determined solely by whether you accessed GameSpot while physically located in California during the stated time period. To receive payment, you must submit a Claim Form online or by mail by April 16, 2026. Payments will be made via check, PayPal, or Venmo, and checks expire after 180 days.
